Enforcement Directorate has now intensified its probe in the Kerala gold smuggling case. Recently, the ED arrested , who was the ex-principal secretary of Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan. ED has now filed a request in the Principal Session's Court, seeking to interrogate the main accused Swapna Suresh along with Suresh Nair and TS Sarith.

The ET has informed the court that they have new evidence against the accused and all the three accused will be interrogated separately. However, the date for the same has not been decided as of now. Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan has also been facing backlash due to this case and his alleged involvement in the case.
