The #CentralVista Redevelopment is happening - the #SupremeCourt has greelighted the project and rejected the appeals that claimed that due process was not followed / approvals not taken / heritage of the area not preserved.

However it was not a unanimous decision - in the 3-judge-bench Justice #SanjivKhanna dissented on some key points - like lack of public participation in such a mega project and lack of clearances by the Govt. While NOT dissenting would have been a easier way - Justice Khanna took a difficult path and dissented - just like Uncle #HRKhanna has against Indira Gandhi's power at the height of emergency.... (and subsequently losing out on the seat of Chief Justice of India)
